EVENT IN BRIEF
DRIVING AN AUTHENTIC VINTAGE FORMULA FORD
In one day, you will undergo intensive training and driving in a Formula Ford Crosslé car. The formula has an output of 110 horsepower at 420 kg, and is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission. The training is intended for both beginners and more experienced drivers.
RACE CIRCUIT CASTELLOLÍ
OUTSTANDING AND TECHNICAL CIRCUIT
This 4.1 km route, located in the hills above Barcelona is a technical circuit with an average gradient of 8%.
SUNNY WEATHER
In February, there is pleasant Mediterranean climate
with temperatures between 13 and 20 °C with almost constant sunshine.
NEAR TO BARCELONA
The circuit is located less than 40 minutes from the center of Barcelona and 30 minutes from the MontRubí winery, where your stay will begin.
WINERY MONTRUBÍ
MontRubí winery is located 40 minutes drive from the airport
and 30 minutes from the racing circuit in the Penedès region, which is famous for its richwine tradition.
This family vineyard focuses on producing high quality wines
with an emphasis on sustainability and respect for nature. MontRubí is famous especially for its unique varieties such as the indigenous xarel-lo and sumoll, which bring an authentic character to the local terroir.
Here you will have a wonderful dinner with paired wines and spend the night here.
DAY-BY-DAY PROGRAMME
Landing at the airport of Barcelona. Transfer to the MontRubí winery (45 minutes). Three-course dinner with paired wines.
Overnight stay at a 5* resort MontRubí.

07:30 Departure for the race circuit
08:00 Arrival to the circuit, changing into the race overalls.
08:30 Instruction lesson lead by professionals.
09:00 Formula drives - 3 sessions, there will be an instructor briefing between each session. 12:00 Lunch at the circuit.
13:30 Formula drives - 4 sessions, there will be an instructor briefing between each session. 18:00 End of the day with Champagne, food.
Overnight stay at a 5* resort MontRubí.
Transfer to the airport will be secured based on your flight schedule.
PRICE FOR PACKAGE
PACKAGE INCLUDES
- A full day of driving (7x20 minut) in a historic formula and more than 200 kilometres at the race circuit Castellolí. Insurance with deductible of 3 000 EUR, driving equipment, English speaking professional instructors.
- Accommodation for 2 nights at four-star hotels, double room for a single or two persons including breakfast.
- All the transfers at the location (airport–MontRubí–airport).
- Rich lunch meal at the circuit, 2 three-course gourmet dinner meals with paired wines (0,4 l / person), water, coffee.
- English speaking coordinator during the stay as well as a professional photographer at the race circuit.
