DRIVING A REAL FORMULA 1
You will have the unique opportunity to drive five laps in the Formula 1 car that the Prost Grand Prix team raced from 1997-2001. By the way, the Czech race car driver Tomáš Enge had three races in this Formula last season. The Formula 1 car has a Cosworth HB V8, 3.5 L engine producing 650 horsepower at 12,000 rpm.
To really enjoy the F1, your drive will be preceded by detailed training, a tour of the circuit and two 15-minute stints in a Formula Renault 2.0. You will be supervised by a team of instructors.
TOMAS ENGE, FORMER F1 PILOT, WILL BE YOUR PRIVATE COACH
Tomáš Enge is former formula 1 pilot who raced in the Formula 1 Grand Prix series in 2001. Not only will Tomáš have exclusive time with you during your F1 practice, but you will also have dinner with him twice.
AUTÓDROMO INTERNACIONAL DO ALGARVE
Portimão is one of the best and most modern racing circuits in the world. It is 4.6 kilometres long, has 15 turns and is very challenging technically, due to several horizons and much more. Both the MotoGP and F1 Grand Prix are held here.

CRUISE ALONG THE ALGARVE COAST
Make your stay more enjoyable with a day trip on a yacht and a cruise along the Algarve coast. Along the way, you will explore the famous Benagil Caves and, weather permitting, try various water sports including snorkelling. The trip concludes with dinner in the picturesque port of Ferragudo at a local fisherman's restaurant.
DAY-BY-DAY PROGRAMME
Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to Vila Vita Parc Resort (40 min. transfer). At 8 pm, a welcome four-course dinner will begin in the hotel's gourmet Adega restaurant.
Spending the night at the five-star Vila Vita Parc Resort
6:45 am Breakfast boxes and transfer from the hotel to the circuit (40 minutes).
7:30 am Arrival at the circuit and welcome in the pit boxes followed by a detailed briefing on driving techniques, circuit rules and safety rules.
9:00 am Tour of the circuit from the minibus.
9:30 am Briefing on Formula Renault riding and changing into the racing suit.
10:30 am Two 15-minute stints for each participant in a Formula Renault.
12:00 pm Lunch at the circuit.
1:30 pm Briefing on Formula 1 driving.
2:00 pm Driving in a Formula 1. Each participant drives 5 laps.
4:30 pm Presentation of certificates, farewell.
5:00 pm Transfer back to the hotel.
5:40 pm Arrival at the hotel, refreshments in the form of an aperitif and canapés, then time to prepare for dinner.
7:00 pm Dinner together in the second hotel Brasserie Bella Vita.
9:30 pm Free program.
Spending the night at the five-star Vila Vita Parc Resort
We will pick you up at the hotel at 10:00 am. Enjoy a relaxing day trip on a yacht and a cruise along the Algarve coast. Along the way, you will explore the famous Benagil Caves and, weather permitting, try various water sports, including snorkelling. The trip ends with dinner in the port of Ferragudo at a local fisherman's restaurant. After dinner we will take you back to your hotel.
Spending the night at the five-star Vila Vita Parc Resort
If you are interested, we will be happy to extend your stay. The Algarve is a golfer's paradise. If you are a golf lover, be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to play on one of the many courses in the area. Otherwise, a transfer to Faro airport and a flight back home will take place that day.

PACKAGE INCLUDES
- A full day course and driving in Formula cars at the Portimão Circuit in the Algarve: 2x fifteen minutes in a Formula Renault and five laps in the F1 Prost/Benetton.
- Formula insurance on the circuit with a reduced deductible of €2,500 per claim.
- Video footage of your ride, a set of professional photos and a two-minute video of your stay.
- Accommodation at the five-star Vila Vita Parc Hotel for 3 nights, a double room for one or two persons with breakfast (twin or double bed).
- Meals: 2x gourmet dinner with paired wines, 1x dinner in a fishing village with wine, one lunch on the circuit, one lunch on the boat, tasting of 6 Portuguese wines at the hotel.
- A 7-hour luxury boat cruise along the Algarve coast, including lunch and water activities.
- All transfers in Portugal by luxury minibus.
- English speaking Tour Leader and coach driver for the duration of your stay.
If you are interested and there is availability, you can increase your number of stints in the Formula Renault or your number of laps in the Formula 1. The price for an accompanying person who does not take part in the rides is € 2,500. The package does not include airfare, travel insurance or trip cancellation insurance.
